Seychelles Holiday Packages
Author: Maria Rain

With the powder-soft sand between your toes, impossibly smooth granite rocks soaring out of a cobalt ocean and the sun a permanent fixture in a cloudless sky, you may be forgiven for associating Seychelles with nothing more than the world’s most beautiful beaches. But put aside the idea of a deliciously idle fortnight, for here is the opportunity to explore a wondrous natural paradise, an opportunity to be jealously seized and never forgotten. Seychelles ‘ enviable climate is always warm and without extremes. In this tropical haven the temperature seldom drops below 24°C or rises above 32°C. All but the remotest southern islands lie comfortably outside the cyclone belt making Seychelles ‘ a year round destination for sun worshippers and beach lovers. These islands are also one of the few places on earth where tourist activities are not only closely linked to the environment, but contribute positively to the conservation projects, allowing the endemic flora and fauna to continue flourishing in their natural habitat. There are approximately 250 indigenous species of plants in the Seychelles, of which 75 of them are unique to our islands. Many of these rare plants grow in remote areas, only accessible by walking. Over the years, Mason’s Travel has researched and developed a variety of walks and trails for both the un-initiated and experienced naturalist alike. We have detailed below our more popular Walks & Trails, each is conducted with a specialist guide.

Aqua East Surf Shop Announces Surf Cam Relaunch!
THE AQUA EAST LIVE STREAMING SURF CAMERA IS BACK UP AND RUNNING
The last few storms and hurricanes of 2007 gave the Aqua East Surf Camera a
real beating, but after a few repairs and a search for a new location, Aqua
East Surf Shop is proud to announce the re-launch of its live streaming surf
cam. The camera, which once sat atop the Plantains Restaurant on the Sea
Turtle Hotel, has now moved just south of The Poles, Atlantic Beach’s
premier surf spot. The Aqua East Surf Cam provides a clean and crisp
picture, and an accurate view of the Atlantic Beach waves 24/7. The Aqua
East Surf Cam can be easily accessed via the Aqua East Surf Shop website at
www.aquaeast.com. Simply click the surf cam button on the bottom right hand
side of the screen, then just sit back and enjoy the ocean view from your
desk.
